Amy

Owner | Dog & Cat Stylist | Qualified Veterinary Nurse

With more than 23 years of experience working with animals, Amy combines extensive grooming expertise with a background in veterinary nursing to provide exceptional care for every pet that visits SeaTails.

She has been grooming professionally for over 14 years and is particularly passionate about Spaniels, Setters and breed-specific styling, where she can showcase beautiful outline trims and natural finishes. Amy also has a special interest in feline grooming and takes great pride in creating a safe, low-stress experience for cats.

A qualified Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse and award-winning groomer, Amy has continued her education through grooming seminars and professional development across Australia and has successfully competed at the Royal Easter Show.

Katie

Dog Stylist

Katie joined SeaTails in 2026, bringing more than 16 years of professional grooming experience and a lifelong passion for animals.

Having worked with a wide variety of breeds, coat types and temperaments throughout her career, Katie is known for her calm approach, attention to detail and ability to build strong relationships with both pets and their owners. She loves getting to know each animal’s unique personality and believes every groom should be tailored to suit the individual pet.

Katie has a particular passion for breed-specific styling and especially enjoys grooming Schnauzers, where precision and craftsmanship can truly shine. She also loves creative styling and welcomes the opportunity to create something unique. 

Her professional development includes training in breed-specific styling, dog behaviour and pet first aid. She is also highly regarded for her patient approach to nail trimming, particularly with dogs who may find the process stressful.

Melissa

Dog Stylist | Qualified Veterinary Nurse

Melissa joined SeaTails in 2023 and brings more than 10 years of experience working with animals. As a qualified veterinary nurse, she has a strong understanding of animal health, behaviour and handling, which complements her gentle and patient approach to grooming. 

One of Melissa’s favourite parts of her role is building relationships with pets and watching nervous dogs grow in confidence over time. She loves helping each dog feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their visit.

Her favourite breeds to groom are Cavoodles, and she particularly enjoys creating soft teddy bear styles and transformation grooms that leave pets looking and feeling their very best.

Sarah

Salon Assistant

Sarah has been part of the SeaTails family since day one and brings years of hands-on grooming experience. Animals have always been a huge part of her life, and she loves building trust and genuine connections with every pet she meets.

Sarah plays a vital role in the salon, managing many of our bathing, drying, de-shedding and coat preparation services. Her attention to detail helps ensure every pet is comfortable, clean and ready for their grooming appointment. She also cares for many of our short-coated breeds, helping keep their coats healthy, fresh and looking their best.

Known within the salon as our go-to second set of hands, Sarah is invaluable when working with puppies, senior pets, nervous dogs and those who need a little extra support during their groom. 

Certified in dog first aid, Sarah is passionate about ensuring every pet receives compassionate care and a positive grooming experience from start to finish.

Taylor

Client Care and Salon Assistant

Taylor joined SeaTails in 2024 and brings more than 12 years of experience working with animals. Friendly, approachable and always ready to help, she plays an important role in both client care and the day-to-day running of the salon.

Taylor is often the first-person clients meet when they contact or visit SeaTails, managing reception and helping ensure every pet and owner feels welcomed and supported. Behind the scenes, she also assists with bathing, drying and coat preparation, helping pets feel comfortable and relaxed before their grooming appointments.

Taylor also plays an important role in our feline grooming services, regularly assisting Amy with cat grooming appointments. Together they help ensure cats are handled safely, calmly and with as little stress as possible throughout their visit.

While she enjoys working with all animals, Taylor has a particular soft spot for senior dogs and appreciates their gentle nature and unique personalities. She also enjoys de-shedding treatments and finds the transformations incredibly satisfying.

With a background spanning 10 years in animal rehoming, Taylor has helped countless dogs find loving families. The work remains close to her heart.
